Frederik Vos (1975) has worked in the IT industry since 1999, when he also started using Linux. Since 2015, Frederik has been a trainer and consultant in virtualization, cloud, and open-source technologies, always interested in new technologies with a strong focus on security and orchestration.
He is a certified instructor for LPI, Mile2, CompTIA, SUSE (SCI), and the Linux Foundation.
Recently, he wrote a book titled “Hands-On Linux Administration on Azure”, published by Packt Publishing. This book targets System Engineers who must deploy Open-Source workloads into the Azure Cloud. Bringing both Linux and Windows engineers up-to-speed in this Microsoft platform.
He enjoys playing the pipe organ and synthesizers when he is not working. He is also an avid reader of crime novels, amongst other books.

After the bankruptcy of XTG, Frederik started his own company to be able to work as a freelance consultant and trainer. Since then, he has delivered many courses and consultancy work for companies like ProRail and Magnus.

He and Sander van Vugt are responsible for the trainers within the cooperation.
Technical Trainer at XTG — 2007-2015
Frederik worked for XTG as a trainer in virtualization (VMware, Citrix, KVM) and open-source solutions. He was also the product manager for the open- source portfolio.
Frederik can implement, manage, and troubleshoot data center solutions and is a great team worker who explains what he is doing and encourages others to be creative and critical. He has no problems at all taking the lead and taking responsibility.
